Full-grain, vegetable-tanned shoulder from a single Tuscan tannery. Pit-tanned for 40 days in oak bark liquor.

Hand-saddle-stitched with waxed Italian linen thread. Two needles, one hole. Each stitch is independently locked.

Solid brass
Sand-cast in Padua. No plating — patina develops with the leather. Will outlast the buyer.

Burnished · hand
Edges sealed with tokonole, burnished with canvas friction, then waxed with beeswax. Re-waxable at home.

Goatskin · 1.2 mm
Vegetable-tanned goatskin in lampone (raspberry). The only place we let ourselves use color.
